The movies releasing on this Friday – January 10, 2014 have a tough time convincing viewers to watch their movie. Four new Nepali movies are going to be screened at the same time in the limited market of Nepali movies. So, film makers have opted for maximum amount of publicity to woe the viewers. In this competition, the ‘6 Ekan 6’ team is well ahead of the competition. The movie has an advantage of three very popular platforms – comedy serials and the lead artists are well known and liked by Nepali audience.
In addition to using the comedy serials ‘Tito Satya‘, ‘Jire Khursani‘ and ‘Meri Bassai‘ for the promotion of the movie, Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula had gone to various parts of the country to promote it. Now, the film makers have started a new campaign – promotion on the street. The promotion team wearing special dress, with ‘6 Ekan 6’ on them are asking the people on street to watch the movie.
The promotion team covered up in red dress will be promoting the movie for two hours every day at Koteshowor, New Baneshowr, Gongabu, Kalanki, Gyaneshowr, and Chabahil intersections. The film makers have decided to take the promotion offline considering the fact that load shedding has limited the reach of online media. Deepa Shree started the promotion with the help of Nirmal Sharma and Jitu Nepal by her side.
