After more than a month of no new episodes, popular comedy serials ‘Bhadragol‘ and ‘Jire Khursani‘ are returning in Nepal Television in the New Year 2072. According to reports, Media Hub, the agency running other two popular comedy serials ‘Tito Satya‘ and ‘Meri Bassai‘, has also acquired the rights to show the serials in Nepal Television by winning the tender.
According to report, ‘Jire Khursani’ will start on Chitra 30 and ‘Bhadragol’ will start on Chaitra 27. Media Hub has agreed to pays Rs. 217,777 per episode of ‘Jire Khursani’ and Rs. 187,770 per episode of ‘Bhadragol’ to Nepal Television.
The production of ‘Jire Khursani’ is told to cost Rs. 147,000 per episode and ‘Bhadragol’ to cost Rs. 80,000 per episode.
Earlier, World Vision Advertisement was running the serials. But, when the security deposit in Siddhartha Bank proved to be fake, the company’s right to the serials was revoked by NTV and the serials were halted. (read more in our previous report on why the serials had stopped.)
