Actress Karishma Manandhar has made a comeback in film production after the bitter failure of her last movie ‘Babu Saheb’. The movie directed by Samjhana Upreti Rauniyar is a female-centric drama movie. The movie is scheduled to release on the Democracy Day, February 17, 2016 (Falgun 7). So far, no other movies have announced to release their movies in that date.
The first look poster and trailers are released at the time of the big festival in Terai – Chhath. As the movie is about the struggle of a Terai resident woman, the timing makes sense.
In Karishma’s life, the failure of her last home production movie ‘Babu Saheb’ was so intense that she left Nepal and her family to go and live in USA for years. She later returned back and is struggling in Nepali film industry. The music video released with the trailer is titled ‘Dui Aankha Chhar Bho …’ and features the music of Basanta Sapkota. The lyrics is written by Dayaram Pandey, and choreography by Kamal Rai. The song features the voices of Mina Niraula and Praladh Timilsina.
This is the second ‘Trailer Tuesday’ post this week. In the earlier post, I wrote about the first look posters of upcoming movie ‘Aadhi Page’.
