In a new movie titled ‘Takme Budho in London’, the actor popularly known as Takme Budho, Wilson Bikram Rai, is expected to receive 10,000 British Pound. The value is equivalent to Rs. 1.6 million – the highest amount any Nepali film actor has received so far.
Although the agreement is yet to be signed, Wilson says that the amount is the brand value of Takme Budho. He will appear in a double role in the movie.
The movie to be directed by Nirak Poudel will be produced by Nir Keden. Currently in Malaysia for the shooting of upcoming movie ‘Black and White’, Nirak will start the shooting of ‘Takme Budho in London’ in the summer. Most of the shooting of the movie will be done in the United Kingdom.
Wilson established himself as Takme Budho in comedy serial ‘Meri Bassai‘. Because of the popularity and high demand in stage shows and movies, the character has stopped appearing in the serial these days.
